Join us for a hands-on agronomy session designed to sharpen your ability to identify disease in the field and understand when lab testing can support better decisions.
Built for independent agronomists, retail agronomy teams, seed company agronomists, and crop advisors, this session focuses on practical, real-world learning. Through visual identification and real sample comparisons, we’ll walk through key plant tissue diseases including verticillium stripe, blackleg, and clubroot, with a focus on what you can confidently diagnose in-field—and where lab confirmation adds value.
We’ll also cover how to effectively use seed and plant diagnostics, including when to rely on visual scouting versus laboratory testing. A breakdown of cereal seed testing packages will help connect cost to value, giving you clearer insight into when full testing makes sense for your growers. The session will also introduce herbicide resistance and tolerance testing, with practical use cases for both tissue and seed analysis.
Special guests from Down to Earth Soil Labs will be joining us for a discussion on soil.
This is not theory-heavy—it’s built to give you tools you can apply immediately in conversations with growers.
The cost for attending this workshop is $50 per person, includes lunch and resource materials to take away with you to reference throughout the season.
Upon registration, a member of our team will be in touch to answer your questions and discuss payment options. Receipt will be provided.
