So far this season pea samples submitted to the laboratory have an average of 14% abnormal seedlings on each sample. Abnormal seedlings can be caused by glyphosate residue from pre-harvest dessication, mechanical damage during harvest or handling or other chemical or environmental stresses. Abnormal seedlings usually will not develop into a healthy plant. We have also observed chemical damage on over 10% of the samples this season.
These seedlings are distinctly different from glyphosate damaged seedlings…
…or mechanically damaged seedlings.
If you have had a remark on your Report of Seed Analysis regarding CHEMICAL DAMAGE please contact KEVIN at the lab at 1-877-420-2099 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss what may have caused the chemical damage.
Test your seed soon as early as possible to ensure you know if there are any quality concerns.
