To our clients, suppliers, and valued partners,
This has not been an easy week for anyone. Our hearts go out to everyone affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and we hope that you have found a way to stay healthy and safe during what has been a difficult time.
Our management and staff at 20/20 Seed Labs are taking steps to ensure that we can continue to offer a complete suite of services to you during this period of uncertainty.
As of this week, we will be working in split shifts to cover seven-days-a-weekallowing your samples to be processed as soon as possible.
As we adjust to these difficult circumstances, our top priority is the safety of our employees, clients, and suppliers.
For this reason, we are introducing the following steps to provide as much social distancing as possible. We recognize that these are unprecedented times and it is important to keep our clients’ needs top of mind.
For the time-being, we have implemented the following procedures:
- Samples must be dropped outside of both our facilities in Nisku and Winnipeg.
We are providing a log sheet in order to maintain a record of deliveries. Please leave your name, phone number, or email and any special requests on the sample package.
- Mark on your samples clearly what tests are required and the year the seed was produced.
By adding relevant background information, your turnaround time can be expedited in the event that 20/20 Seed Labs is considered a ‘non-essential’ service and required to temporarily shut down.
With spring seeding just around the corner, we know that you are relying on us to deliver results that allow you to continue operating efficiently, effectively, and on schedule. By adhering to these procedures, this will help us to do so.
We will do our best to provide the testing you have become accustomed to and expect in normal times. However, we will be prioritizing tests that need to be processed much more quickly due to these unforeseen circumstances. Priority tests will include samples for import and export due to their strict timeline and us not wanting to hold up international shipments or delivery to the distribution points.
To our loyal clients, we value our relationship and cannot thank you enough for your understanding. At times like this, it is so important to band together and lessen the burden on each other.
We believe that we will emerge from this more united and stronger than ever – but it will take time.
